WHY DESTINEER:
Destineer offers competitive compensation, a 401k plan, stock options, profit sharing, health, dental, and vision insurance, a fridge filled with free stuff, and a fun working environment. But, we also offer other unique qualities for you to consider:
IMPACT. We reject the assembly-line production systems of most large studios, where masses swarm a project and then move on to the next. Instead, we build focused teams of people who stay with a project to completion and are given the responsibility and support needed to create culturally relevant and technologically innovative experiences that we believe will play a leading role on the next-generation consoles.
TECHNOLOGY. Unlike most game developers, we build our core technologies from scratch. We do this so we can make games that look and play differently than games created with licensed engines. Our technologies for the next-generation consoles offer many of the key graphics features of the brand-name engines, but are also architecturally different so we can create unique game play experiences.
RELEVANCE. We make videogames that give players authentic insight into the experiences of our heroes, and we create tools these same heroes use right now to train for their life-and-death operations. We work closely with the guys on the very front lines of America’s military and intelligence activities as we craft intriguing large-budget games based on real-life events. It’s pretty cool going home at night knowing that your work could capture the imagination of millions of videogame players while also preparing those on America’s front lines for their hazardous missions.
