
Paul Rinde, Destineer’s CEO, was formerly senior vice-president of Atari, managing Atari’s most profitable division, which he built from $25 million in annual sales to $125 million. Before Atari, Paul co-founded WizardWorks Group in 1990, which he sold to GT Interactive in 1996. Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the games industry.
Peter Tamte, Destineer’s founder and president, was formerly executive vice-president of Bungie Software, makers of the best-selling Halo videogames. Bungie was acquired by Microsoft in 2000. Before Bungie, Peter worked for Steve Jobs at Apple Computer as senior director of worldwide consumer marketing. Before joining Apple, Peter started MacSoft and built it into one of the world’s top 3 publishers of Macintosh consumer software.
Juan Benito, Destineer’s creative director, co-founded Red Storm Entertainment, where he helped create the “tactical military shooter” genre with games like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Juan has more than 11 years of experience in the games industry.
Scott Addyman is vice-president of sales. Scott has more than 22 years of experience in the videogame industry, including five years as the founder and CEO of Lasersoft, which he built and sold to GT Interactive Software.
Tony Chiodo is director of product development. Tony has more than 14 years of experience in the games industry and has produced more than 50 different games for companies including Microsoft, GT Interactive, Single-Trac, and ElectroBrain.
John Farnsworth, Destineer's Raleigh studio director, was formerly studio manager at Red Storm Entertainment, and he managed the international teams for several of IBM's award-winning ThinkPad laptop lines. John is also an intelligence officer and commander in the US Army Reserves and has over 20 years of military experience.
Jimmy Zimmer, Destineer's director of engineering, has over 15 years of software engineering experience in the fields of videogames, defense, 3D visualization, and healthcare. Jimmy has held engineering or management roles with Virtus Corporation, Michael Crichton's Timeline Entertainment, Research Triangle Institute, and others.
Mark Davidson, Destineer’s director of core technologies, has more than 17 years of games industry software development experience. Mark has worked on interactive entertainment projects for Namco, Viacom New Media, ICOM Simulations, Intel, and many more.
Al Schilling is general manager of Destineer’s MacSoft unit and Destineer’s director of operations. Al has been with MacSoft since 1994 and has been instrumental in building MacSoft into a leading Macintosh consumer software publisher.
