Entering your License Code and your Registration code
The process to activate your license code can be somewhat confusing. To acquire your "License Code" you must first activate your retail license using your registration code. Please follow the steps below to activate your retail license and to acquire a "License Code."
- After installing GarageSale, please start the program by double-clicking on the GarageSale program icon. You can locate the GarageSale icon in the GarageSale folder on your computer. This is most likely in the Applications folder on your Macintosh HD.
- On the "Welcome to GarageSale" screen, please uncheck the "Try Demo" box.
- Click on the button labeled "Purchase."
- Please click the "Activate Retail License" button. This will open a webpage in your web browser.
- Enter all of the required information on that page. In the line labeled "Box Code," enter your GarageSale registration code exactly as it is printed on the back page of your manual. Once this is complete, click on the "Generate License" button.
- This will generate the license code that you can copy and paste into GarageSale. It is important that you type the same name in the name field as you entered on the previous webpage. Once you've entered the Name and License Code and clicked either "OK" or "Next," the program will now be activated.
