In the few cases where this happens, the installer did not run correctly when it reached disc #2. You can verify that this is the case by looking in your Neverwinter Nights folder on your hard drive. Is there a folder named Data? If not, or if the Data folder is empty, insert disc #2 and run the disc #2 installer again.

This is typically caused by a corrupt or hacked character file being used. Solutions include:

1. Reverting to a previously-saved game, re-saving your character, and then loading that character instead.
2. Overriding the character module check in the [Game Options] section of the nwnplayer.ini file by applying the following setting without the quotations: "Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=0".

If you are downloading Modules using Internet Explorer, the module are downloaded with the name like drtracker.cgi. (Safari does not appear to be affected by this issue)

Once your download is completed, change the .cgi to .sit. Then use Stuffit Expander to uncompress the file.

Install the Module as normal then.
