Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide
and Hordes of the Underdark

NOTE: Make sure you are downloading the proper version of the update for your game. If you have just SoU installed, get the SoU update. If you have just HotU or you have SoU AND HotU installed you will need to download the HotU update.
Troubleshooting:
When I try to install either Shadows of Undrentide or Hordes of the Underdark and the installer asks me to show it where Neverwinter Nights is installed, the message "this does not appear to be the right directory" appears.
Even though the installer ask you to select the Neverwinter Nights icon, please select the Neverwinter Nights folder instead and click "OK."
When I try to install either Shadows of Undrentide or Hordes of the Underdark, the installer says "Can't determine product's installed version" and then quits. I'm running the latest version of Neverwinter Nights.
This problem is caused by updates newer than version 1.62. For the moment, the solution is to set your saves and localvault folders aside, drag the Neverwinter Nights game folder to the trash and then reinstall Neverwinter Nights. Install Shadows of Undrentide and/or Hordes of the Underdark immediately afterwards, and then install the latest update. You can then replace the new saves and localvault folders with your previous ones.
Installation Note: Installing either expansion pack will bring the entire game installation to version 1.62 whether the previously installed version of Neverwinter Nights was an earlier or later version.
