This application will update all previous versions of Mac Zoo Tycoon 2 to version 1.0.1. This Updater is for the U.S. (ie, English) retail version of Zoo Tycoon 2 only.

IMPORTANT! Please note that:

You must be logged in as the user who originally installed the game software to apply this update. Additionally, you will need to supply an Administrator's password.

If you're not logged in as the appropriate user, you may receive an error during the updating process, and your original Zoo Tycoon 2 software will be left untouched. If necessary, quit this program now and re-log in as the appropriate user.

To perform the update, close this window and click the "Select Zoo Tycoon 2" button. Then, Navigate your way to your Zoo Tycoon 2 file. Alternatively, you can just drag your Zoo Tycoon 2 file to the window on the right.

Version 1.0.1 - 5 January 2006

PowerBook Trackpad crash fix. Recent model Apple PowerBooks and iBooks with the new multi-touch trackpad controllers would randomly crash due to a bug in the game's Carbon Event processing subsystem. This has been fixed.

This application will convert the 1.0.1 version of Zoo Tycoon to a version that will run natively on new Intel-based iMacs. You must have already installed the 1.0.1 update above before applying the Universal Binary update below.

As with the 1.0.1 update, you must be logged in as the user who originally installed the game software to apply this update. Additionally, you will need to supply an Administrator's password.

To perform the update, close this window and click the "Select Zoo Tycoon 2" button. Then, Navigate your way to your Zoo Tycoon 2 file. Alternatively, you can just drag your Zoo Tycoon 2 file to the window on the right.

Zoo Tycoon 2 1.1.1 Universal Binary Update for Intel Macs Only

This application will update the 1.1.0 version of Zoo Tycoon and fixes some issues that prevented the game from operating correctly on Intel-based Macs. On some older copies of the game you must have already installed the 1.0.1 and the 1.1.0 update above before applying the this update. New copies of the game in stores aleady have the update 1.1.0 installed.

As with the 1.0.1 and 1.1.0 update, you must be logged in as the user who originally installed the game software to apply this update. Additionally, you may need to supply an Administrator's password.
